Julie is a Programs Assistant with 5 years of experience in the civil society space. She began her journey as a communications mentee, where she honed her skills in storytelling, advocacy, and amplifying feminist voices. Over the years, she has transitioned into programmatic work, contributing to initiatives on women’s transformative leadership, movement building, and intergenerational mentorship. Julie has supported the design and coordination of programs that strengthen women’s participation and leadership across Africa, while continuing to draw on her strong background in media and communication to enhance visibility and impact. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the United States International University – Africa and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Strategic Corporate Communication.
