CSW68 African Women and Girls’ Demands
During the 3rd Africa Disrupt[1] convened by the African Women’s Development and Communication (FEMNET) and NGO-CSW Africa members[2] in Yaoundé, Cameroon, from the 20th – 22nd February 2024; Pan-African feminists, economic justice activists, community leaders, movement builders, and gender justice advocates are STANDING IN SOLIDARITY WITH African women and girls across the continent, and CALLING ON AFRICAN GOVERNMENTS to INVEST IN WOMEN and ACCELERATE PROGRESS in the continent by demanding for the following during the CSW68 deliberations taking place in New York from 10th – 22nd March 2024;
