My Educational Background include Economics and Community Leadership as first and Post Graduate degree respectively I am also attending MA 2nd year Gender Studies. I have attended different capacity development courses like Climate Governance, Diplomacy and Negotiations Leadership Programs.

I have worked 20 years as expert plus team and department head of different levels of Government organizations. Meanwhile, I worked as a team member that reviewed Gross Domestic Product plus Revenue and Expenditure of Addis Ababa City Administration. I have also conducted Assessment study entitled “Housing for the Poor in Addis Ababa” as a complimentary work of the course provided at Lund University of Sweden.

Then I joined CSO in 2008 and worked as Program Manager for two years. Starting 2010 I am working as an Executive Director of a Consortium, “Union of Ethiopian Women and Children Associations (UEWCA)” that has 90 Women Right CSOs that are working towards ensuring empowerment and gender equality. I have participated in different National and Global (CSW 68th, 69th and COP27) Advocacy engagements am a member of platform that are working for the realization of Gender Responsive Budgeting, Climate Justice and Women Land Right (Stand for Her Land Right (S4HLR).
