Angela Nguku is a Kenyan visionary, feminist leader, and global thought partner driving bold change in reproductive, maternal, and newborn health and rights. She is the Founder and Executive Director of White Ribbon Alliance Kenya and the African Chair of the White Ribbon Alliance movement. With over 18 years of experience, she leads unapologetically from the grassroots to global platforms, amplifying the self-articulated needs of over 3.5 million women and girls through the Ask Listen Act Power Approach.
Angela is also the founder of AudaciousHer, a coaching platform nurturing African women leaders and frontline defenders through initiatives like Early Fire and Coaching for the Frontlines. Her expertise spans movement building, strategic policy advocacy, and feminist governance. She has served in leadership and advisory roles on key boards and global platforms including the WHO Postpartum Hemorrhage Steering Committee, Merck for Mothers Advisory Board, Movement for Community-Led Development, BRIDGE Commission, and the Board of Directors of the Global Health Council. She is a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Goalkeeper and a Her Africa Ubuntu Leadership Fellow.
